This year, Yip's Chemical signed a four-year HK$600 million syndicated loan with six banks, laying an important foundation for sustainable development. The loan interest rate will be linked to our environmental and social performance. The Group has also set a series of quantitative goals to help reduce the environmental impact of the production process.
Yip's Chemical was earlier awarded the "Outstanding Green and Sustainable Loan Issuer (Chemical Industry) - Excellent Visionary Sustainable Development Linked Loan Performance Indicator" by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency; Mr. Ye Jun, the Group's Deputy Chief Executive Officer, was awarded the "Outstanding Green and Sustainable Finance Development Leader".
